The year is 2025. These are my goals.
Continue being physically, mentally and emotionally present in my family's lives. Helping them with their sports and shcoolwork and just generally trying to have as much fun as possible.
The last couple of years, I have been using most of my PTO to complete renovations on my house. I want to take my family away on at leat 1 holiday this year.
This year I will be focusing on building my base level of fitness back up. Last year, after my knee surgery, my training (and health) took a real hit both in motivation and action.
To build my base fitness, I will complete the following by the 31st December 2025.
This breaks down to 1k of each strength exersize (Pushups, Squats, etc..) and 150 KMs of riding a week.
Last year, I started a Computer Science university degree. This year, I will complete 6x subjects in my university degree.
Renovate 2x bathrooms in my house. This will complete the major renovations for my house that I have been doing over the last couple of years.
I also have lots of little jobs to do around the house. I have compiled a list and will complete at least 1 job evey weekend.
This year, I will read (or listen) to more than 25 books.
Over the last few years, I have been learning Rust. I have been building a labbing tool in Rust and aim to release version 1.0.0 by the 31st of December.
This year, 2025 I will be hitting it hard. LETS GOOO!!
